In a strategic move, Agilitas Sports, a leading player in sportswear and athleisure solutions, has clinched the brand license for the renowned Italian sports brand Lotto from WHP Global. This exclusive agreement grants Agilitas the authority to design, produce, promote, and distribute Lotto products in India, Australia, and soon in South Africa.

Abhishek Ganguly, the co-founder and CEO of Agilitas Sports, expressed enthusiasm about the 40-year license deal, highlighting plans to infuse cutting-edge manufacturing processes, technological advancements, and design innovations into the Lotto brand. Ganguly emphasized Agilitas' commitment to bolstering Lotto's presence through comprehensive strategies encompassing product development, marketing, branding, and distribution channels.


The acquisition sets the stage for Agilitas' ambitious venture into multiple product categories, including footwear, apparel, accessories, and sports equipment under the Lotto brand umbrella, with a targeted launch scheduled for early 2025. Agilitas recently bolstered its capabilities with the acquisition of Mochiko, a reputable manufacturer of sports footwear catering to renowned brands like Adidas, New Balance, and Reebok. The establishment of a dedicated manufacturing facility in Noida by Mochiko underscores Agilitas Sports' dedication to fostering domestic production in India.


Led by industry veterans Abhishek Ganguly, Atul Bajaj, and Amit Prabhu, Agilitas Sports has already garnered significant financial backing, raising over $60 million from esteemed investors including Convergent Finance LLP and Nexus Venture Partners. The recent appointment of Richard Zartman as Vice President of Footwear Design further solidifies Agilitas' commitment to excellence, with Zartman set to spearhead the design initiatives across the company's athletic sportswear brands.
