Infosys Limited is an Indian multinational information technology company that provides business consulting, information technology and outsourcing services., Infosys, has announced a revenue of Rs.37441 Crore, which has lessened by 2.3% as compared to previous quarter revenue of Rs.38318 Crore. As compared to revenue of Mar-22, there is a spike by 16.0% from Rs. 32276 Crore. to Rs. 37441 Crore.                                                                       


The Major Segments have been, Communication, Energy and Utilities and Resources and Services and Financial Services. The share of each major segments are Communication: 4411 Crore [11.8%], Energy and Utilities and Resources and Services: 4825 Crore [12.9%] and Financial Services: 10818 Crore [28.9%]. The change in segment revenue of Communication segment slides by -6.4%, Energy and Utilities and Resources and Services segment shrinks by -2.7% and Financial Services segment slip by -3.7% during the quarter.                                                                      


Infosys, quarterly profit has slip by 6.9% to Rs.6134 Crore from Rs.6586 Crore . Net Profit Margin of the company nearly remain flat from 17.2% to 16.4%.                                                           


On analysis, it is observed that this Quarter's EBITDA (Operating Profit) Margin has nearly remains regular to 24.0% from 24.4% . The reason for the nearly stays similar of EBITDA Margin is due to:

a) Cost to Revenue % of Employee Cost has crosses to 54.2% (Previous Quarter: 52.9%). Employee Cost in absolute terms has nearly stays similar from Rs.20272 Crore to 20311 Crore.

b) Cost to Revenue % of Other Expenses has slides to 21.7% (Previous Quarter: 22.6%). Other Expenses in absolute terms has shrinks from Rs.8679 Crore to 8132 Crore.                                                          


The finance cost has grown from Rs.80 Crore to 82 Crore by 2.5%.                                                                                                            

                                                                                    

On an annual basis, the company has clocked revenue of Rs. 146767 Crore. It has flies by 20.7% from previous financial year revenue of Rs. 121641 Crore.                                                           

Profit has surge to Rs.24108 Crore from Rs.22146 Crore, a year ago. Net Profit After Tax Margin has shrinks from 18.2% to 16.4%.                                                                    

Primary reason that yearly profit has surge during the year is due:                                                           

a) Cost to Revenue % of Employee Cost has soars to 53.4% (Previous Year: 52.6%). In Absolute, Employee Cost has zooms from Rs.63986 Crore to 78359 Crore.                                                          

b) Cost to Revenue % of Other Expenses has risen to 22.7% (Previous Year: 21.5%). In Absolute, Other Expenses has jumps from Rs.26164 Crore to 33278 Crore.                                                         


The finance cost during the year has skies from Rs.200 Crore to 284 Crore by 42.0%                                                                      


Price to Earning (PE) ratio of the company is 23.34 as compared to the Industry PE of 29. PE is better placed which signifies that neither company is overvalue or undervalued.

 

Companies Return on Equity (ROE) is 32.0% and Return of Capital Employed (ROCE) is 44.3%

             

Company has in the past four years reflected a Compounded Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) in Revenue of 9.9% and a CAGR in profit of the past four years of 5.6% .                                                                    

To summarize, Revenue has lessen by 2.3%. EBITDA Margin has nearly remained regular to 24.0% from 24.4%. and Net Profit After Tax Margin has nearly remain flat from 17.2% to 16.4%.
