Zepto Revenue Zooms by 14.4X in FY23 and Losses Up 3.3X


Quick Commerce prominent player, Zepto, has witnessed a growth in Revenue from Rs 140.7 Crore in FY 22 to Rs. 2024.30 Crore Revenue in FY 23 . As against the growth in revenue by 14.4X , annual losses has increased 3.3 times to Rs. 1,272 Crore from Rs 390 Crore loss in FY 22 .


Zepto was able to continue its market capturing dominance during FY 23 alongwith controlling its expenses which has resulted in improved in its NPAT Margin from -277.4% in FY22 to -62.84% in FY23.


The Breif of Zepto's Performance during the FY 2023 as Compared to FY 2022 is as follows :


As per above table , it is reflecting that Zepto has controlled its major expenses like Employee Benefit which has grown only 4.18X , Advertisement Expense has grown hardly by 0.22X . Rest of the expenses have also increased by 8.24X as compared to Zepto's Revenue Growth by 13.3X.


Zepto's in high competitve quick commerce market competing with Siwggy's Instamart and Zomato's Blinkit have show a steady growth with its ability to innovate and deliver grocery items at quick pace within 20 minutes.
