SydeLabs Secures $2.5 Million Seed Funding Led by RTP Global to Advance AI Security Solutions

SydeLabs, an AI security and risk management startup, has secured $2.5 million in its seed funding round, with RTP Global leading the investment. Other contributors include Picus Capital and prominent angel investors like Kunal Shah and Sai Srinivas Kiran.


The capital infusion will primarily fuel SydeLabs' research and development efforts and bolster its existing product lineup. Co-founded by Ruchir Patwa and Ankita Kumari, the company specializes in identifying security vulnerabilities within enterprise AI systems, offering real-time prevention measures to mitigate cyber threats and abuse.

SydeLabs aims to forge partnerships with major language model operation providers to extend the reach of its products. Additionally, the firm is developing tools to assist enterprises in achieving regulatory compliance for their AI applications across different regions.


With ambitious targets, SydeLabs aims to achieve $1 million in annual recurring revenue by the close of 2024.


RTP Global, an early-stage venture capital firm, boasts a robust portfolio with over 110 investments globally. Notable companies in its investment roster include Datadog, DeliveryHero, CRED, and SumUp.
