Ola Electric, headquartered in Bengaluru, has recently launched a new variant called the 'S1 X 4kWh scooter'. Priced at Rs 1,09,999, this variant is part of the Gen-2 platform and is equipped with a 6kW motor, allowing it to achieve a range of 190 km on a single charge.
The scooter boasts rapid acceleration, going from 0-40 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, and has a maximum speed of 90 km/h. It comes in several color options such as Red Velocity, Midnight, Vogue, Stellar, Funk, Porcelain White, and Liquid Silver, with deliveries set to commence in April 2024.
Ola Electric has also introduced an extended battery warranty of 8 years or up to 80,000 km for all its products, with the option to extend it up to 125,000 km for an additional Rs 4,999, to address consumer concerns about battery health. The company is expanding its service network by 50%, aiming to increase the number of service centers from 414 to around 600 across India by April 2024.
Furthermore, Ola plans to expand its fast-charging network to 10,000 points by the next quarter and offers a portable fast charger for Rs 29,999.
The S1 X range is currently available for purchase, with the 2kWh variant priced at Rs 79,999, the 3kWh at Rs 89,999, and the 4kWh at Rs 1,09,999. Additionally, Ola Electric's premium models, the S1 Pro (2nd Generation) and the S1 Air, are available at Rs 1,47,499 and Rs 1,19,999, respectively.
