Rebel Foods Revenue Up by 39.2% to Rs 1195 Cr. and Net Loss for the Year remains at Rs. 568 Cr.


Rebel Foods , a dominant cloud kitchen startup, has registered a growth in revenue by 39.2% from Rs. 1195 Crore in FY23 from Rs. 858 Crore in FY22.


Company operates various food brands like Behroz Biryani , Fasoos , Oven Story , Lunch Box and have Super App named EATSURE.


Net Loss for the year increased from Rs 504 Crore year ago to Rs. 568 Crore in FY23.


Company have seen improvement in EBITDA Margin from -47.6% in FY22 to -33.8% in FY23. Gist of Rebel Foofs Financial Performance for FY23 is as follows:


Company have accross various cost categories have achieved cost control with major expenses like COGS coming down from 52% to 48.3% and Employee Cost reducing by 1% of Revenue and Advertisement Cost coming down from 22% to 16% of revenue and Commission Cost reducing from 16.5% to 14.4% of revenue.


However, with the growth company needs to achieve profitability before approaching for successfull IPO Plans in near future.


Rebel Foods competes with other cloud kitchen brands like Eatclub - Box8 / Mojo Pizza and Fresh Menu.
