Power Surge: Rincell Charges Ahead with $1.2M Seed Funding for High-Performance Batteries

Rincell Corporation, a manufacturer of battery cells, has successfully raised $1.2 million in a seed funding round led by NextGen Battery Chem Ventures LLC, a US-based venture capital firm managed by renowned investor Sandiip Bhammer.

The funds raised will be deployed to prepare Rincell's 18650 and 21700 silicon-graphite batteries for commercial production later this year, as announced in a press release by the company.

Established in 2023 by co-founders Jignesh Parikh and Jagjit Nanda, Rincell specializes in the production of high-performance silicon-graphite batteries, lithium manganese iron phosphate (LMFP) batteries, and sodium-ion batteries for applications in both government and commercial sectors. The company is dedicated to advancing its mission of electrifying critical industries by providing high-capacity, high-performance batteries through a secure supply chain.

Rincell reports that it has already started shipping samples of its top-tier 18650 and 21700 Silicon-Graphite batteries to government and commercial clients, including Inventus Power, the largest independent battery pack manufacturer in North America.

In addition to Rincell, several other companies such as Log9, Battery Smart, Lohum, Nexus Battery, Log 9 Materials, Chargeup, Inverted, and Yulu are also actively contributing battery solutions for the electric vehicle (EV) industry.
