Neysa Raises $20 Million to Democratize Generative AI with Cloud Platform

Neysa, a rising star in the AI cloud and platform-as-a-service (PaaS) space, has secured $20 million in seed funding. The round was led by renowned venture capital firms Matrix Partners India, Nexus Venture Partners, and NTTVC.

Neysa is led by a powerhouse team boasting extensive experience. Sharad Sanghi, the CEO and co-founder, brings his expertise from founding Netmagic, India's premier data center company acquired by NTT. Anindya Das, the CTO and co-founder, complements this with his profound knowledge of cloud infrastructure and network design. Overseeing it all is B V Jagadeesh, a seasoned leader from Silicon Valley, who serves as the Chairman.

Neysa aims to revolutionize Generative AI adoption through its comprehensive platform and suite of services. They'll empower clients to discover, plan, deploy, and manage their Generative AI projects cost-effectively. Notably, Neysa's offering will ensure secure AI landscapes across cloud and edge environments, with a convenient consumption-based model.

This integrated approach, coupled with industry-specific solutions, will accelerate Generative AI adoption for businesses of all sizes, both in India and globally. The company anticipates launching its services in the third quarter of 2024.

This funding will be instrumental in expanding Neysa's infrastructure and accelerating their research and development (R&D) initiatives. "We're committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation," said Sharad Sanghi. "With this funding, we can provide our clients with a powerful end-to-end Generative AI PaaS ecosystem and an AI-powered Observability Platform, ultimately delivering tangible business outcomes."

Anindya Das, Neysa's CTO, echoed this sentiment. "Neysa was born from a deep understanding of cloud management challenges and the transformative potential of AI," he explained. "This funding empowers us to democratize AI, allowing companies of all sizes to ignite innovation and drive growth. We're building a future where AI integration is seamless and intuitive, fundamentally changing how we interact with technology."

The investor community has expressed strong confidence in Neysa's vision. "We've known Sharad and Andy for a long time," said Avnish Bajaj, MD at Matrix Partners India. "There's no better team in India to help enterprises transition to AI-native cloud computing. We're thrilled to be a part of Neysa's journey!"

Jishnu Bhattacharjee, MD at Nexus Venture Partners, echoed this enthusiasm. "The demand for AI is skyrocketing globally, and Neysa's AI-native cloud platform is perfectly positioned to address this need. We're excited to back them again after our successful partnership at Netmagic."

Vab Goel, Founding Partner at NTTVC and Board Member of NTT Data Inc., concluded by highlighting the significance of Generative AI. "Generative AI is a top priority for businesses today," he said. "Neysa will help them gain a competitive edge through accelerated productivity. We're delighted to continue our partnership with Sharad and Andy."
