From Content to Capital: Priyanka Gill's Dual Journey Empowers Female Founders

Priyanka Gill, co-founder of The Good Glamm Group, a content-to-commerce unicorn, has made a significant career shift by stepping into a new role at Kalaari Capital, an early stage venture capital firm. In her capacity as a venture partner at Kalaari, Gill will spearhead initiatives aimed at empowering more female founders within the startup ecosystem. Notably, Gill has been actively involved with Kalaari's CXXO initiative, dedicated to supporting female founders, serving as a founding board member.

Despite transitioning to Kalaari Capital, Priyanka Gill will maintain her ties with The Good Glamm Group, albeit in a different capacity. She is set to assume the role of chairperson at Good Media Co., a subsidiary of The Good Glamm Group, where she will continue to offer guidance on strategic decisions and investment matters.

Meanwhile, The Good Glamm Group is yet to announce a successor to Gill as the CEO of Good Media Co., the entity housing various brands like POPxo, ScoopWhoop, BabyChakra, and MissMalini Entertainment. Gill's entrepreneurial journey includes her previous startup, POPxo, which was acquired by The Good Glamm Group in 2020. Following the acquisition, she transitioned to become a co-founder at The Good Glamm Group, taking charge of the media and content business.

It's pertinent to note that Kalaari Capital had previously invested in POPxo and holds a stake in The Good Glamm Group, further intertwining Gill's professional trajectory with the investment firm's portfolio.
