AutoVRse Secures $2 Million Funding Led by Lumikai

AutoVRse, an Indian augmented reality/virtual reality (AR/VR) technology startup, has successfully closed a $2 million seed funding round, with Lumikai, a venture capital fund specializing in gaming and interactive media, leading the investment.

The funding round also saw participation from notable investors such as Rajat Monga, co-founder of TensorFlow, and Inference.io, Yash Kotak, founder and CEO of Jumper.ai, Deepak Kumar, Chief Customer Officer at Observe.AI and early investor at Fractal, and Viswanathan Krishnamurthy, ex-CIO/VP at Yahoo & Eaton.

The freshly secured funds will primarily be directed towards enhancing AutoVRse's enterprise product, "VRseBuilder." This initiative aims to facilitate the deployment of virtual reality (VR) solutions at scale, specifically targeting the digital transformation of training, design, and sales workflows within heavy industry and manufacturing enterprises.

Co-founded by Ashwin Jaishanker and Adarsh Muthappa, VRseBuilder is a comprehensive and modular technology stack, coupled with a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform. It encompasses a pre-built VR content library, a VR-native Learning Management System (LMS), a deployment platform, a knowledge repository, and a Unity Software Development Kit (SDK) with a no-code editor. These components collectively empower traditional industries to undergo digital transformation seamlessly.

Moreover, AutoVRse leverages its in-house game lab for research and development efforts aimed at enhancing its enterprise product. Notably, the company has also introduced "District M," a unique social multiplayer VR rhythm game.

AutoVRse has already made significant strides in delivering VR solutions to prominent global companies, including Shell, Godrej, Bosch, Tata Motors, Ultratech Cements, and the Aditya Birla Group, among others.

The infusion of $2 million in funding underscores AutoVRse's dedication to revolutionizing traditional industries through innovative AR/VR solutions. With Lumikai and other notable investors onboard, the startup is well-positioned to expand its offerings and further cement its presence in the rapidly evolving AR/VR technology landscape.
